Your key is saved only in this browser on this phone, and is sent only to Google when you scan. It is not stored in the page file on your server, so other visitors to your site don't get it.

Tips for good results

10-15 coins per photo works best. For a big pile, do it in a few batches - the AI reads dates much better.
Lay them flat, heads up, not touching - the date and mint mark are on the heads side.
Bright, even light (daylight by a window is great). Avoid glare and shadows.
Hold the phone straight above, close enough that the coins fill the frame.
