Kernal Fit

I lost the desk-job weight without quitting my desk.

I'm an IT professional. No gym membership, no heavy dieting, no 5am boot camps. Just small changes to how I eat, built around a real workday. This is exactly what I did, written down.

Why I wrote this

I spend my days the way a lot of IT people do: long stretches in a chair, lunch at the keyboard, snacks within arm's reach, and a brain too busy solving problems to think about food. The weight crept on the same way the hours did - quietly, and then all at once.

Every plan I tried assumed a life I don't have. Two hours at the gym. Meal prep Sundays. Willpower I ran out of by Wednesday. So I stopped trying to overhaul everything and started changing a few small eating habits instead - ones that fit inside a workday instead of fighting it.

It worked. Steady loss, week after week, while still sitting at the same desk. Kernal Fit is the whole method: what I changed, why it worked, and how to make it fit your own routine.

Who this is for

This is for you if...

  • You work in IT or spend most of your day at a screen
  • You've tried diets that didn't survive your schedule
  • You want steady progress, not a 30-day bootcamp
  • You'd rather change a few habits than your whole life

This isn't for you if...

  • You want a bodybuilding or athlete training plan
  • You're looking for meal plans with exact macros
  • You want medical advice (talk to your doctor for that)
